Almost a year has gone by since the fabulous London 2012 Games and now work is underway to convert some of the arenas as part of the London Legacy. The iconic Copperbox, which hosted handball and Modern Pentathlon fencing during London 2012 and Goal ball in the Paralympics, is being transformed into a multi-purpose sport and entertainment venue.
It’s the third largest arena in London, the sports hall is equivalent in size to twelve badminton courts. It has a fully sprung wooden floor, courtesy of yours truly, suitable for a wide range of indoor sports and will host competitions and training for both professional athletes and the local community. The arena has flexible seating and can also be arranged to suit cultural and business events.
We’re proud to have been involved in such a prestigious project – for more information on our sports flooring systems see here
