A Grand Display

Our solid Oak floors are now on display in the impressive Animal World Gallery in the National Museum of Scotland. The museum has undergone a complete re-working courtesy of Gareth Hoskins Architects alongside exhibition designers Ralph Appelbaum Associates.

Installed by our Approved Contractor McKay Flooring, the 600m² floor has been finished in HP Commercial lacquer for a very durable finish, ideal for high traffic areas and the lovely, honey coloured hues of the Oak makes a warm and welcoming backdrop to all the exhibits and interactive display – definitely worth a visit!

Textured Oak Floors

Junckers’ new collection of textured solid Oak floors combine the quality and elegance Junckers are known for with the latest trendy looks.

With a beautiful, tactile finish the Textured Oak floors are available in six shades – three dark and three pale floors. The coveted hand finished look has been developed using a special, hard brushing technique to remove the softer wood from the surface of the plank which leaves the grain of the timber more prominent.
